Halloween is right around the corner, and Trunk or Treats are becoming more and more popular! This is a great way to get together with people from different towns and meet the owners of businesses in your area.

Located at Geisinger Medical Group, 1 14 Lt Michael Cleary Dr. in Dallas, this event will also feature a “Touch a trunk” featuring a Firetruck, Ambulance, Bus, and tractor. There will also be face painting, a 50/50, bake sale, DJ, and more! This takes place on October 20th at 3 pm.
You’ll want to stop by the Luzerne County Fair on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 from 6:15-8 pm. Cars and trucks will be decorated with prices awards to the best decorated area! The fair is located at 3605 State Route 118 in Dallas.
If you’re one of the first 300 children to show up at the Bear Creek Charter School on Friday, October 26th from 5:30-7:30 pm, you’ll get a free Halloween bag! All who attend will be able to participate in face painting, an inflatable obstacle course, a haunted trail and—of course—trunk or treating.
For this event, you much register your children in advance. You can register online here no later than Friday, October 19th, 2018. The Bear Creek Community Charter School is located at 30 Charter Way in Bear Creek Township.
On Saturday, October 27th, 2018 from 5-8 pm the Clarks Green Assembly of God Church is hosting an evening full of trunk or treating, bounce houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, candy, pumpkin painting, and so much more! Learn more here.
Costumes aren’t necessary for this event but are welcome. Children, accompanied by a caregiver, can fill their bags with candy handed out in the parking lot of the Hoyt library. Children will also receive a hot dog, a bag of chips, and a drink from the library while supplies last. This will take place on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 from 10-11 am.
Kingston Borough will hold its Annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 27th, 2018, from 5-7pm at the parking lot of HKQ Law, 600 Third Ave., Kingston, PA.
Vehicles will be decorated, and trunks filled with candy for the kids! Entertainment will be provided by Magic 93. And HKQ Kids will be providing Clip-on Flashing Safety Lights to all Halloweeners.
Keystone Underground is hosting a Trunk or Treat event at SBC on Sunday, October 28th from 2-7pm. There will be a costume parade from 3:30-4, free brewery tours at 12, 2, and 4 pm, and a food drive to benefit St. Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen. Donations are made by putting your cans and nonperishables in the trunk you’d like to vote for as best decorated! There will also be a food truck and DJ at the event.
Stop by Planet Fitness in Pittston, PA on Saturday, October 27th from 6-10 pm for a trunk or treat event! Here, Cars of Friday Night are teaming up with Planet Fitness for an evening of fun. Children can receive candy bags from Planet Fitness and visit decorated trunks (some passing out candy!). Prizes will be awarded to the scariest, most creative, and best Fortnite character costumes.
The Greater Scranton Jaycees are holding their 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat Family Fun Day event at the Tigue Bandshell in Nay Aug Park! This will take place on Saturday, October 27th from 12-2 pm. Join them for candy, crafts, and more!
Stop by Johnson College on October 30th between 3 and 5 pm for food, entertainment by Alt 92.1, and a Halloween themed party! This free event will feature decorated cars and trunk or treating on the front lawn of the North Scranton campus. Avenue Restaurant and Catering will be holding Trunk or Treating in the restaurant parking lot on October 28th between 3 and 5 pm. Stop by for trunk or treating and decorated trunks!
The Langcliffe Presbyterian Church in West Pittston will be holding trunk or treating on October 27th from 4-5 pm. Enjoy trunk or treating, decorated cars and trucks, hot chocolate, and more! Entrance for parking will be on York Ave.
If you’re a fan of the Wilkes-Barre Public Square Car & Bike Cruises, you’re in for a treat on October 28th! From noon to 4 pm, the last cruise of the season will feature trunk or treating! A costume parade will take place at 2 pm and a 50/50 drawing at 3 pm. This one is truly fun for the whole family!
For a night of games, Halloween contests, food, trunk or treating, and more, stop by Coal Street Park on October 26th, between 5 and 7 pm. There will be a best costume contest, so show up in your best costumes!
