The town was founded in the late 18th century and by 1920, the Belin family established the Waverly Community House. Today, the house is still a central part of the town. It provides locals with a gymnasium, basketball court, playground, and sponsors educational programs several times a year. Waverly hosts an annual home and garden show as well as lawn concerts. Restaurants and specialty shops can also be enjoyed throughout the town.
Professionally decorated and designed, this exceptional 7300 sq. ft. one story home features superior construction and meticulous attention to detail inside and out.
A gravel motor court leads to the dramatic entry with stately pillars and beveled glass doors. Handsome hardwood floors flow through bright formal rooms. Multiple sets of French doors lead to the expansive bluestone patio and beautifully landscaped, terraced yard.
The chef-inspired kitchen features a combination of soft white cabinets with a large Carrera marble island and steel blue side cabinets with stainless steel countertops. Designed with entertaining in mind, the space includes a substantial pantry. The light filled room extends to a large dining area and inviting family room. A wonderful coffee/wet bar area is nearby.
Beautiful marble accents the baths in the seven generously sized bedroom suites. A beamed ceiling great room provides additional space for fun. The 4.6 acre property is complete with a circular drive and four-car garage with pet grooming area.
