As the weather gets cooler, there is no better way to warm up than with a hot cup of good coffee (or tea!). If you’re looking for a morning, afternoon, or evening pick-me-up, stopping by your neighborhood coffee shop is a great way to warm your belly—and support local businesses.

Did you know that NEPA is home to a number of local coffee shops? We’ve gathered some of our favorites from the area so the next time you’re searching for “coffee near me,” you already know where to go.

Scranton & Surrounds

One of Scranton’s best-kept secrets, Adezzo offers a wide variety of coffee- and tea-based beverages, sweet pastries, and light fare options by Zuppa Del Giorno. For a comfortable and relaxed environment close to the University of Scranton, a trip to Adezzo is a must.

NEPA wholesale coffee roaster Electric City Roasting Co now has a 500-square-foot coffee shop located in Peckville where they’re brewing their own coffee and craft lattes. You can also grab some non-coffee drinks and some pastries. And if you can’t make it to Peckville, you can still find ECR coffee served at many of the local coffee shops on this list!
