Harveys Lake is a lakeside community nestled in the Back Mountain region of NEPA. The Back Mountain is located near major highways but offers the remoteness of nature nearby.

This six-square-mile area of the Wyoming Valley offers both year-round and seasonal/vacation homes. Residents of the area enjoy everything from days on the lake and hiking to visits to Hillside Farms for homemade milk, ice cream, and visits with farm animals.

Founded in 1781 during the Revolutionary War by Benjamin Harvey, Harveys Lake has grown from just one square mile to the largest natural lake in the state of Pennsylvania. The lake was incorporated into Harveys Lake Borough in 1968.
