Did you know that National Green Juice Day is this weekend? If your New Years resolution was to incorporate a little more color into your diet (besides rainbow candy), there is no better way than to enjoy a nice green juice packed with vitamins and minerals! In fact, that’s the reasoning behind National Green Juice Day. Established in 2016, it is intended as a way to encourage people to stick to their health and wellness resolutions.
Will you be partaking in National Green Juice Day on January 26? If you have a juicer or a blender at home, you can easily make your own using simple, fresh ingredients like apples, pears, spinach, kale, celery, cucumbers, pineapple, bananas, and favorite dairy or non-dairy milk. Personally, I love a good pineapple, kale, and banana smoothie with almond milk.
